Manchester United are in active negotiations with Borussia Dortmund over a loan deal for Jadon Sancho, with ‘talks ongoing’.
That’s according to Sky Germany, who say they have learned that Manchester United and Dortmund are ‘specifically considering’ a loan until the end of the season.
They explain that the 23-year-old ‘has to leave’ Old Trafford in the January transfer window after a falling out with Erik ten Hag earlier in the season.
He’s not featured since, and the Red Devils are now working on a solution with their counterparts from Dortmund to get a deal over the line.
This is backed up by journalist Christian Falk, who says the talks between Manchester United and Dortmund are ‘very concrete’ and ‘nearing completion’.
Sancho is expected to be a part of Dortmund’s training camp in Marbella this week, such is the confidence in a deal being completed.
That’s a big turnaround according to Sky, who say a return ‘seemed unimaginable’ just weeks ago but has now being worked on positively, seemingly with Manchester United helping to move things along.
