Fulham star Andreas Pereira has advised the club to move for Flamengo duo Arrascaeta and the attacker Bruno Henrique after being “surprised by their quality” when playing alongside them.
The midfielder has been speaking to Star + in Brazil, relayed by Netfla, when he was asked about which players he would bring from Brazil to Fulham if he had the chance.
The midfielder moved to Fulham from Manchester United in July 2022 in a €9.5m deal after a loan spell at Brazilian side Flamengo, who he joined on loan in August 2021.
He went on to make 53 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring eight and assisting three before eventually returning to England with Manchester United before being moved on to Craven Cottage.
His time in Brazil was something of a tumultuous one, particularly towards the end, with a falling out with Flamengo’s fanbase ensuring he didn’t make the move there permanently.
It seems, though, he still has some fond memories of his time playing at the club and some of those revolve around his teammates, who’d he be more than happy to see join Fulham if given the chance.
”From Brazil today I would take Arrascaeta and Bruno Henrique,” he said.
“I knew Gabigol while playing, I played with him in the national team too, but I didn’t know them that well yet and I was surprised by their quality.
“Them coming to Europe, I would like to see them playing here.”
