Brighton & Hove Albion could be an option for Napoli’s Giacomo Raspadori, according to a report.

The Serie A winners signed him on loan from Sassuolo in 2022 and made his stay permanent earlier this year. The forward has mainly been used as a substitute and if situation doesn’t improve, he could leave the Naples club in 2024.

That’s at least what TV Play are reporting and they name Brighton as possible destination for the 24-year-old.

Operating across the front three positions and as an attacking midfielder, he has managed 10 goals and seven assists from 55 games for Napoli.

The report states the Italy international ‘wants to play more’ and this seems to be difficult to achieve with his current employer.

It’s claimed sirens lead him to the Premier League, where he can receive ‘more than one important offer’. When discussing his options, the outlet claims ‘watch out for Brighton’.

Roberto De Zerbi knows his compatriot very well from his time at Sassuolo. In fact, it was the Seagulls manager who promoted the player to the first team and would ‘welcome him back with open arms’ at Brighton.

Raspadori’s deal lasts until 2028 and TV Play claim Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis will request at least €40m to sanction his sale next summer.
