Last Thursday, Tuttosport explained that Juventus’ Samuel Iling-Junior is of ‘great interest’ to Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou. It was also said Spurs aren’t scared of the €20m fee requested by the Serie A side for the youngster.
The 20-year-old has found it hard to get regular game time this season as he’s clocked in 113 minutes from four games. Massimiliano Allegri is not considering him and his future could be away from the Serie A side.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who state ‘goodbye is around the corner’ for the Tottenham target.
Spurs are among them as the report says they have been thinking about Iling-Junior for ‘some time’. The outlet adds a ‘permanent offer could arrive’ in January, possibly from the north London club or other interested parties from England.
TMW say the Old Lady won’t consider letting the player leave on loan in the winter market and a sale seems like a ‘most concrete hypothesis’, since he has a deal expiring in 2025.
To sum it up, Iling-Junior and Juve want to part ways in January and Tottenham can take advantage of this, as long as they wish to sign him on a permanent deal.
