Benoît Badiashile arrived at Chelsea from AS Monaco at the start of this year and made 11 appearances in the second half of the last season, before suffering a groin injury in May.
The centre-back recently returned to action and made his first league start of the season in his side’s 4-1 defeat to Newcastle United last weekend.
Following his mixed start to Chelsea career so far, which includes a ‘disastrous’ performance against the Magpies, TuttoMercatoWeb suggest the Blues could send him away in January.
The Premier League side could find it complicated to avoid making a loss through his sale because he has a contract until 2030.
It’s even claimed the Rossoneri could be willing to include a purchase option as part of the deal, as they don’t want to simply help the Blues by helping Badiashile return to form only for him to then head back to Stamford Bridge.
The Serie A have carried out business with Chelsea, as they took Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea in the last window, and Fikayo Tomori in 2021. They signed the latter initially on a loan deal in January 2021 before buying him later that year.
Tomori has enjoyed his time at the San Siro and Milan could try to replicate this successful deal by putting together a similar deal for Badiashile in the winter market.
As it stands, the Serie A side are only thinking about the Frenchman, since Chelsea are looking to send him away on a dry loan.
