Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski can’t hide how happy he is to be at the club this season.
Just a few days ago, we covered him speaking to the Swedish media and talking about the great mood there’s been in Spurs’ squad since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou at the club.
Now the Tottenham player also spoke to Sky Sport in Italy, with Corriere Dello Sport bringing some of the quotes.
The fullback started by explaining how impressive Spurs’ start to season has been, claiming not even he expected such results so early after the new manager’s arrival.
The player also spoke a little more about Postecoglou, claiming that besides the improvement in the team’s play, he also lightened the mood in the squad.
“Postecoglou is a great coach, you can already tell from the way he talks to the group. He also tells life stories, he doesn’t just talk about football. Training sessions with him are fun, we work a lot with the ball. Tactically he proposes a different but beautiful, offensive football, we all move forward, pressing high. We young people have a lot of fun playing with him. Every day when he speaks we learn something.”
Finally, Kulusevsi commented on the goal he scored against Sheffield United, which led to Tottenham’s 2-1 win back in September.
“When you score a goal you feel alive. We were losing, our families were at the stadium, our fans. I’m happy to have felt the thrill of going from zero to one hundred when I shot and the ball then went in.”
Following the loan from Juventus last year, Kulusevski made his transfer to Tottenham permanent this summer in a €30m deal. He now has a contract with the club until 2028.
