In the past few weeks, the Italian media has been full of stories about Inter Milan’s interest in signing Tomas Soucek from West Ham United.
It’s been many times said that the player’s contract with the Hammers, which expires at the end of the season, would be an advantage for the Nerazzurri, even though the Hammers have an option to extend it for a further year.
Now while Inter Milan look to sign Soucek from West Ham next summer, CalcioMercato.it brings some information about Juventus’ chase for the midfielder.
Juventus are having huge problems in midfield and need reinforcements in the January window. That’s one of the reasons to make a bid in the winter market.
CalcioMercato.it says the Old Lady could make a ‘low offer’ to West Ham, meaning the Hammers would rather take that than letting him leave for free to Inter Milan at the end of the season.
That seems like a great strategy to beat the Nerazzurri, but we still wonder about the clause for a renewal in Soucek’s contract, besides rumours claiming the Hammers would like to extend his deal.
