Adrien Rabiot has been linked with a move to the Premier League for years, and as he seems to be maturing into a better player with age then it’s natural for those claims to continue.
Juventus had been considering a sale a couple of years ago but Rabiot made them happy they couldn’t secure one, becoming a key part of the Italian club’s midfield.
This season the key man in Juve’s midfield was supposed to be Paul Pogba but it’s Rabiot who has been Mr. Reliable. A number of clubs, including Arsenal are said to be keen on signing the 28-year-old Frenchman.
Calciomercatoweb report the Gunners are looking to get ahead of the competition and have their ‘proposal ready’ for January. The idea is that Jorginho would leave Arsenal for Juventus and Rabiot would move the other way.
Swap deals rarely happen, but in a sea of outlandish ones this claim doesn’t sound too absurd. It could benefit both clubs and the report states the players are paid similar levels of salary, so there’d be no big issues there.
