Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele may be still to make his debut for Galatasaray, but he has already left a good impression at the club.
Turkish outlet Aksam today features a story claiming manager Okan Buruk ‘couldn’t believe his eyes’ when watching the 26-year-old in training.
The piece claims the coach was ‘amazed’ in his first sessions, with the Tottenham loanee getting ‘highly appreciated’ by the staff.
That’s undoubtedly great news for Galatasaray, with Aksam pointing out this was one of the ‘hottest’ signings the club made in the summer window.
It’s recalled that there was a battle against Fenerbahce to get the transfer done, and they now have a good reason to get excited about his debut for the club.
Aksam says that after not getting any playing time for Tottenham this season, he’s determined to ‘prove’ himself at Galatasaray.
A potential good spell from Ndombele can only be good for Spurs, because as pointed out by the story, the Turkish side have an option to buy him from the Premier League side at the end of the season, which they could take full advantage of if they are impressed with his performances during the current campaign.
