One of the players trying to make an exit from Nottingham Forest while some transfer windows are still open, Emmanuel Dennis could be close to an exit.

Well, that is if the Tricky Trees accept the offer that has landed on their desk on Monday, which comes from Adana Demirspor.

That’s according to Sport Digitale journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who took to Twitter to reveal the news about the Süper Lig’s bid for the Nottingham Forest player.

He simply makes it clear that Adana Demirspor have made an ‘official offer’ to Steve Cooper’s side for the 25-year-old, who has yet to feature for the club this season.

It’s fair to say that Dennis’ €14.8m transfer from Watford to Nottingham Forest hasn’t quite been the success many were hoping for, as he only found the back of the net twice and assisted teammates three times in 25 appearances for the City Ground club.

Clearly pushed to one side this season, an exit was needed for all parties, and while we do not know just yet how much Adana have offered for the Nigeria international, it’s a step in the right direction for all involved.

Especially since a further update from the same journalist states Adana Demirspor have ‘reached an agreement’ with the player and the two clubs are ‘close to an agreement’.
