PSV Eindhoven are ‘still pushing’ to sign Davinson Sanchez from Tottenham Hotspur before tonight’s deadline.
That’s according to journalist Rik Elfrink, who says the Dutch club haven’t finished their transfer business as yet and are now turning their attention to the Tottenham defender.
Sanchez had been expected to depart Spurs this summer after falling out of favour under previous managers but has, surprisingly, found himself featuring regularly under Ange Postecoglou at the beginning of this campaign.
That had suggested he would not be on the move after all, but it seems PSV are trying to test that at the end of the transfer window.
Elfrink reports that they are ‘still pushing’ to sign Sanchez from Tottenham, although he makes no mention of the possible, they are offering at this stage.
It seems they’ve now turned their attention to the former Ajax man, although whether they will find Tottenham in a willing mood this late into the window remains to be seen.

Voetbal International add their own information, stating that PSV are determined to strike in the dying hours of the window by getting Sanchez in.
Their journalist Marco Timmer states that they are ‘pushing very hard’ for a deal, with a medical examination already planned in case they can striker a deal with Spurs.
According to them, Sanchez is free to leave Tottenham, suggesting the Dutch side think there is a deal there to be done and reunite him with former manager Peter Bosz in Eindhoven.
