Aymeric Laporte has already ‘passed his medical’ with Al-Nassr and is set to complete his move from Manchester City ‘shortly’.
That’s according to El Correo, who report that the defender has already passed the required checks with the Saudi Arabian side ‘set to travel shortly’ to Riyadh soon to finalise his move.
Reports earlier this week stated Manchester City had agreed to sell the defender to Al-Nassr this summer and that the centre-back had agreed terms on a deal.
El Correo back this up and say Laporte has already passed his medical with the Saudi club and a deal should be finalised shortly.
He is set to travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital and home of Al-Nassr’s headquarters, to finalise the transfer and become the latest big name to move to country this summer.
The newspaper says Al-Nassr have managed to lure Laporte with a ‘huge offer’ of €25m per year on a three-year deal.
That agreement came after the club had closed an agreement with Manchester City, who had put him on the transfer market and will pocket €30m from his departure.
