The last we heard from the Italian media about Nottingham Forest wanting Samuel Iling-Junior from Juventus was about a week ago.

The news was that Steve Cooper’s side were interested in both Filip Kostic and the former Chelsea youngster to bolster their squad, with the belief they were going to move for the latter.

That hasn’t happened yet, but Corriere dello Sport do bring Nottingham Forest back into the fold on Wednesday when it comes to the 19-year-old.

They point out that the City Ground club, Atalanta and Bologna are all keen on the Englishman, but Juventus ‘want no less than €20m’ to let him go.

That’s a fee Nottingham Forest should be able to fork out if they are really intent on getting him this summer, but is proving to be a big hurdles for the two Serie A clubs.

What helps the Premier League side is that both Cristiano Giuntoli and Giuseppe Manna are ‘considering the option of a definitive farewell’ for a few of their youngsters, including Iling Junior, in order to raise some cash for potential purchases elsewhere for their squad.
