La Liga star makes it absolutely clear he backs Liverpool transfer, will happen if up to him

 

Neymar speaking about Philippe Coutinho has almost become traditional. Back when the Coutinho to Barcelona rumours really started, Neymar was asked a couple of times about the potential Liverpool transfer and gave positive remarks.

The Brazil captain encouraging the situation led to more rumours and yet more questions, and the more Neymar is happy to speak about the Liverpool player the more Coutinho’s name is dragged into his interviews.

Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo have yet another interview with Neymar in their Tuesday edition. The Brazilian is doing publicity for one of his many sponsors and was again asked about Coutinho transferring from Liverpool to Barcelona.

Neymar said: “I would sign him. He‘s the player I see playing in Barcelona (out of the Brazil set-up).”

With one of Barcelona’s main stars making no secret of his wish for the club to sign the Liverpool player, rumours will continue for the foreseeable future.

Jurgen Klopp will hope that initially it helps Coutinho get to his best form for the club, and stay at that level.
