Fulham star reaches ‘total agreement’ to leave Craven Cottage – Clubs in ‘final discussion’ to close deal

Following a rather lengthy summer saga, it seems Aleksandar Mitrovic is ready to leave Fulham.

Journalist Gianluigi Longari reports that the striker now has a ‘total agreement’ with Al-Hilal.

The Saudi side are now said to be in talks with Fulham to close the deal.

For now, there’s no information on how much the Whites are about to get with the sale.

Mitrovic is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €28m, and has a contract with Fulham running until 2026.

The talks seem to have developed a lot today, as just hours before, Longari had already published a report claiming the deal was ‘very close’ to take place.

Fulham signed Mitrovic on a loan deal from Newcastle United in January 2018, and then made the move permanent that summer, spending €24.7m on the purchase.

In his time with the Whites, he had 111 goals and 22 assists in 206 appearances, and became a crucial piece in Marco Silva’s side.

However, with the striker clearly looking for a next challenge, it was even claimed he got offered to Inter Milan this summer, but now it seems Saudi Arabia will really be his destination.
