Leicester City have found a ‘total agreement’ with French side Montpellier for forward Stephy Mavididi, with a medical planned for Thursday.
That’s according to journalist Sanit Aouna, who says Leicester have agreed a €7.5m transfer fee plus 10% in the event of a future resale.
The Foxes are busy reshaping their squad this summer following relegation to the Championship last season, with several big names having already departed.
Winger Harvey Barnes is one of them, with him recently completing a move to Newcastle United and thus leaving a hole in Leicester’s squad that will need to be filled.
It seems they are planning to do so with the signing of Mavididi, who managed four goals and two assists in 27 games for Montpellier last season.
Aouna reports that there is now a ‘total agreement’ in place between the two clubs on a €7.5m deal for the 25-year-old forward.
He’s now scheduled to travel to Leicester for a medical tomorrow ahead of the Foxes securing their sixth new arrival of the summer transfer window.
