Italian champions Napoli are ‘convinced’ they can change Wolverhampton Wanderers’ stance on Max Kilman and get a deal over the line this summer.
That’s according to Corriere del Mezzogiorno, who say the player remains their ‘first choice’ to replace Kim Min-jae despite Wolves being resistant to a deal.
The newspaper explains that finding a replacement for the defender is the ‘absolute priority’ for Napoli at this moment in time and Kilman is the man they want.
They have ‘no intention of giving up’ their pursuit of the defender despite the fact that Wolves do not intend to sell him for a lower sum.
They are now instead willing to wait to get a transfer done, ‘convinced’ they can make Wolves lower their demands if they just remain patient.
That does not mean they aren’t looking at alternatives, in fact the opposite is true, and they are cultivating a list of options as alternatives.
Whether that’s needed remains to be seen as the Wolves man remains at the top of their list and they are confident of getting him eventually.
