Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca has shared his delight at completing a loan move to Real Betis and confirmed his agents are still in talks over a permanent switch.
The Spaniard has been speaking to Marca about his move to Betis after he joined the Spanish side earlier this month.
The midfielder is one of several players to have departed Leeds following their relegation to the Championship last season.
He’s taken an advantage of a clause in his deal to seal his exit, with him and several players in Leeds squad having clauses to either leave on loan or in cheap deals post relegation.
He is hoping to reignite his career in his homeland this season after a disappointing few years at Bayern Munich and a difficult spell with Leeds following his move from the German champions last summer.
“I know that they have all made an effort for me to be here,” he said.
“I am very happy, I have had a very warm reception from my teammates, I am where I want to be, I promise work, commitment and effort to the maximum, I hope we meet the objectives because Betis It is a great team, and we are very hungry for victories.
“In the end, I like to live in the present. Right now, the club is talking with my agents to see how we can agree all the details with Leeds.
“I don’t take it; I focus on training, and I leave it to them. This year I’m going to give my best and I feel prepared and with a lot of commitment.”
