Journalist claims player’s transfer to Manchester United is an ‘absolute certainty’ – ‘Solution will be found’

Manchester United took ‘important steps’ on Monday to sign Fiorentia’s Sofyan Amrabat.

That’s according to Alfredo Pedullà, who say the ‘contacts are increasingly active’ in the Red Devils’ pursuit of the midfielder.

It’s claimed the 26-year-old has ‘said yes’ to Manchester United and the latter have to carry out a few sales before making an offer to the Serie A side.

Pedullà says the deal can be done for around €22-25m plus bonuses to reach €30m. As things stand, there’s no agreement between the two clubs but it’s a ‘hot lead and one to follow’.

Another Italian journalist, Enzo Bucchioni, has provided additional updates on this case in his column for Viola News.

He claims the Morocco international has already said goodbye to his teammates in mid-June. The player has returned for training, which the Serie A side were hoping to avoid.

When discussing suitors, Bucchioni says Manchester United are ‘in pole position’ to sign Amrabat, who believes his exit could be done for around €27m even though Fiorentina’s request is around €30-35m.

Bucchioni says there’s ‘absolute certainty’ Amrabat’s move to Manchester United will take place in the next few days. He adds a ‘solution will be found’ as the midfielder will leave the Italian club this summer.

The Moroccan has played under Erik ten Hag when the pair were at FC Utrecht and could reunite with the manager at Old Trafford, if Manchester United are successful in securing his services.
