Wolverhampton Wanderers have to bring in reinforcements this summer after seeing some of their key players leave Molineux.
One of the areas the Premier League side need to bolster is their midfield, after Rúben Neves’ sale to Al-Hilal.
Fluminense’s André is identified as a target. That’s according to Bolavip Brasil, who state Wolves have ‘entered the fray’ for the 22-year-old.
The defensive midfielder, who has made 34 appearances this year, ‘stands out’ at the club for his fine displays.
Julen Loptegui’s side are ‘in the fight’, along with Fulham and Liverpool, to secure André’s services. The report adds unnamed clubs from Italy and France are also in the picture.
Bolavip Brasil state the Brazil international ‘may leave’ Fluminense, who will ‘only agree to negotiate’ his sale for R$215m [£35m].
Fulham tried signing him in January but their offer was rejected by the South American club. Earlier this month, AS stated the London club have rekindled their interest and will enter into talks with Fluminense over a deal for André.
