Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Max Kilman is the ‘number one goal’ for Napoli after being deemed ‘remarkable’.
That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who say they Serie A champions are pushing to get a deal over the line for the 26-year-old.
They explain that Kilman has been ranked as ‘remarkable’ by the Italian club, and his rating is ‘indeed excessive’ in their reports.
Napoli have already offered €35m through President Aurelio de Laurentiis but that was not considered ‘sufficient’ by Wolves for now.
Whether Napoli are willing to go that high remains to be seen, although they will have the funds to do so if they sell Kim min-Jae to Bayern Munich as expected.
That’s something to be worked on in negotiations with Wolves, who have set their asking price for the player if a deal is to happen this summer.
