Earlier on Wednesday, we relayed news from Italy that Inter Milan officials are hoping a deal to take André Onana to Manchester United will be sealed in the next few hours.
It was also stated the goalkeeper has already started looking for a house in England, after reaching an agreement with the Red Devils for a deal worth €7m per year. The two clubs must find an agreement to conclude the operation.
Italian journalist Rudy Galetti took to Twitter to say that Manchester United and the Serie A side have already ‘reached a verbal agreement’ for a deal worth around £42m [€49.2m] plus £5m [€5.8m] bonuses.
He adds ‘new contacts’ are expected between Erik ten Hag’s side and the Nerazzurri in the next 24-48 hours, to sort out the last details to complete the operation. The Cameroonian is ‘ready’ to join the Premier League side.
Onana arrived at the San Siro as a free agent last summer. According to Libero, relayed by FcInter1908.it, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio sorted out a deal for him months before his contract at Ajax had expired.

Even though the figures mentioned here contradict Galetti’s claim, the two sources insist Onana will end up at Manchester United in this window.
