Leeds United are yet to appoint a new manager following Sam Allardyce’s exit from Elland Road after their relegation from the Premier League.
The Whites have been linked to a few managers in recent weeks and are set to make a decision on their next coach.
That’s at least what Sky Deutschland are reporting and add that Daniel Farke is ‘about to sign’ with Leeds.
The 46-year-old is currently without a job since leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach after the end of last season.
After reaching a verbal agreement with the English club last week, it’s said Farke has been in Leeds since Monday to sort out the ‘final details’ of the move. Sky state the German signing his contract with the new team is ‘imminent’.
Leeds have started pre-season training and the report says Farke will take charge of his first training session later this week.
Farke has the experience of coaching in England as he was at Norwich City between 2017 and 2021, where he managed over 200 games, guiding the Canaries back to the Premier League on two occasions.
