Following the shock news that Jamie Vardy could leave Leicester City this summer for a move to Turkey, the pace has picked up.
Following the Foxes’ relegation, many feel this could be the right time for the striker to finally leave the club, and Trabzonspor are offering a way out.
The news comes from Fanatik in Turkey, who claim the Süper Lig side have ‘made an official offer’ for the 36-year-old.
The Foxes have reportedly ‘evaluated’ the offer made by Trabzonspor, and ‘negotiations are continuing’ for this transfer to take place in the coming weeks.
While the departure of Vardy from Leicester City would be a sad one, there is little the King Power Stadium faithful can reproach him after 427 appearances for the club over the years, totalling 170 goals and 68 assists over that time period.
That all came after a £1m transfer from Fleetwood in 2012, with very few expecting the striker to become as popular as he did over that time.
