Chelsea’s effort to get Angelo signed from Santos continues to develop very fast.
The latest updates from Brazilian journalist Venê Casagrande says the 18-year-old has ‘already started’ his medical with the Blues.
The report claims Angelo began the ‘battery of tests’ and will soon be able to sign a six-year contract with Chelsea.
As previously claimed by the same journalist, the Blues are paying Santos £15m for the transfer.
Following the initial stories about this transfer, several Brazilian outlets started confirming that Chelsea are about to buy the player.
Even though Barcelona had a preference over the winger, it’s claimed by Goal that the Catalan club are not moving for the signing, and the Stamford Bridge side have the path open.
Since the start of the year, Angelo has a partnership with agent Giuliano Bertolucci. He was involved in several deals between Chelsea and Brazilians in the past couple of decades.
The teenager is still a developing player, and there’s still no certainty he’ll have a place in the Blues’ squad in his first season in Europe.
