Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca seems to be full of options for his future this summer.
Spanish outlet Estádio Deportivo today features a story where they explain the race to take him out of Elland Road.
It’s first pointed out that Real Betis are very interested in the Leeds player, and have him as a priority signing for the window. Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are also said to be keen on bringing him back to the Bundesliga.
Now according to Estadio Deportivo, there’s also a chase from Girona, who have interesting financial conditions to make an attractive offer for Roca.
It’s said the Catalan side turn into a ‘serious competitor’ for Betis, as they have ‘more advanced contacts’ to sign the Leeds player.
This race can only be good for the Whites, who should have more options on the table to choose from, with the player obviously also having a say.
Roca joined Leeds in a €12m deal from Bayern Munich last summer, and despite his contract running until 2026, it’s the relegation to the Championship that edges him out of the club.
He’s now valued by Transfermarkt at €15m.
It had been thought he’d move on a loan deal, but with this added interest there may be the chance of a permanent transfer.
