PSV Eindhoven need to ‘pull out all the stops’ to keep youngster Isaac Babadi at the club with Brentford ‘seriously in the market’ for the 18-year-old.
That’s according to Eindhovens Dagblad, who say the Bees are competing with Eintracht Frankfurt for the young striker.
The newspaper explains that the striker’s contract situation is ‘of interest’ to many prospective buyers as he only has one year left on his current deal.
Babadi would be happy to remain in Eindhoven and certainly sees opportunities there, even if that just means training with the first team and not playing in it.
However, there is interest from abroad and there is a long list of clubs considering a potential move for the youngster.
He is being ‘seriously coveted’ by Brentford and Frankfurt, though, who have seemingly put themselves at the front of the queue for his signature.
Both clubs have a habit of targeting young talent to be developed, with Brentford bringing in the likes of Keane Lewis-Potter, Aaron Hickey, Mikel Damsgaard and Kevin Schade in the last two transfer windows alone.
Signing such players is very much a part of their success in recent years and it seems they now have their eyes on a potential move for Babadi too.
