Aston Villa are ‘keeping tabs’ on UD Almería’s Largie Ramazani, with the Spanish side open to selling him this summer.
That’s according to Diario de Almería, who say the winger is one of the ‘sellable’ assets in the current squad and thus could be moved on in the coming weeks.
They explain that because the player’s current deal expires in June 2025 and a renewal is not currently on the cards, Almería believe that the ‘time has come to sell him’.
Their intention is to accept any proposal that is presented to them this summer, knowing that the player continues to have a ‘good reputation’ in England, where he arrived from in 2020 on a free after a spell in Manchester United’s youth ranks and time at Aston Villa.
Aston Villa are one of the sides ‘keeping tabs’ on him, believing that he has ‘potential for growth’, particularly as he is still only 22-years-old.
Mallorca’s Lee Kang In appears to be their number one target but he’s also received an offer from PSG and Diario suggest Ramazani could be Aston Villa’s secondary option if they miss out on the South Korean.
Almería are in no hurry to listen to possible offers and will wait for the U21 European Championship, which starts on the 21st of June and could see the player increase his value if he has a good tournament.
Villa might be wise to make their move before then, particularly with Almería more than happy to let the player move on.
