New coach on his way to Burnley – Great work with youngsters, Kompany with clear long-term vision

Following their promotion to the Premier League, Burnley are in the process of reshaping their squad ahead of a potentially tough season.

However, the Clarets are also reshuffling some of their backroom staff, with a brand new addition to those helping Vincent Kompany on their way.

That man is Prince Musombo, who, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, is expected to leave KRC Genk and move to Burnley.

Described as a performance coach, he has recently been working with KRC Genk and created the Next Gen Football Camp, and specialises in guiding youth players to help them develop on and off the field.

He has overseen the start of many starlets’ careers, including Noah Mbamba and Madi Monamay, as explained by Tavolieri, and looks to be a great addition to Kompany’s backroom staff.

In fact, his appointment certainly point towards the Belgian manager wanting to stay at Burnley for a very long time, where he will clearly focus on developing the talent already at the club.
