At this point, Christian Pulisic is better off leaving Chelsea in the coming months, as his time with the Blues appears to be over.
That’s what quite a few reports are stating, and Corriere dello Sport claim a club are trying to take advantage of that.
AC Milan have put the Chelsea winger on their list of players to try and sign this summer as they look to bolster their squad, and have already made the first moves to try and get something done.
They claim that the Serie A side are ‘working’ on signing the forward, after the player was put ‘on the market’ alongside the majority of the current squad.
It’s stated that over 10 players are set to leave this summer, and Pulisic ‘is on the list’.
Milan, down their end, have ‘established relations with his agents’, but also have ‘direct contact’ with the American ownership of Chelsea, meaning Todd Boehly, through the likes of Gerry Cardinale and Giorgio Furlani.
As for the player, he ‘would like to regenerate after complicated months’, and a new chance in a new club would certainly go a long way.
Milan are now’ thinking about it’ and are working on the cost of the transfer, which currently stands at more than €20m a year from his deal expiring, as well as his wages, that are ‘currently out of reach’ for the Serie A side.
One to keep an eye on.
