On May 11th, Hugo Lloris’ agent insisted the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper will study all options available to him in the summer. This comment was made when responding to the reports linking him with a move to the Middle East.
A day later, L’Equipe suggested Spurs chief Daniel Levy could let go of the 36-year-old in the summer, a year before the end of his contract.
The Frenchman has endured a difficult season with the Premier League side and already has an ’emergency door open’ to leave them for Saudi Arabia in the next window.
It’s stated Al Hilal have offered him a lucrative deal that will see him triple his wages to a little over €1.3m per month. The Spurs goalkeeper, who has a ‘very low’ chance of staying at the north London club next season, is ‘not insensitive’ to this proposal.
Foot Mercato further claim Al Hilal are in talks with Lloris, who ‘is listening’ to the project proposed by them.
