Wolverhampton Wanderers are about to make an offer for Almeria striker El Bilal Touré, according to report from France today.

Foot Mercato writes that Wolves are ‘ready’ to place €25m plus bonuses on the table to sign the Malian player.

It’s said the Molineux side’s idea is to offer that amount and ‘finalise the deal quickly’, as the player also draws interest from Brentford.

Foot Mercato doesn’t make it clear whether Almeria will be accepting Wolves’ offer, even though that looks like a pretty decent chunk of money for the 21-year-old.

It was last summer that the La Liga side bought Touré from Stade Reims, having paid €8m for the transfer.

In his first season in Spain, the youngster has six goals and two assists in 19 La Liga appearances, and that’s definitely what caught Wolves’ attention.

What is also not said is if Brentford, who have him ‘courted’ as well, are set to make an offer for the signing, or even try to outbid Wolverhampton in this battle.

With Foot Mercato saying Wolves are moving quickly, they seem concerned about the competition.
