Julian Nagelsmann has been warned against making a move to Chelsea, with the ‘unrest’ coming from Todd Boehly and the rest of the leadership a problem.
That’s according to Matthias Sammer, who believes a move to Stamford Bridge would be ill-advised for the former Bayern Munich manager.
Chelsea are currently on the hunt for their next permanent manager after sacking Graham Potter last month, with Frank Lampard only in temporary charge until the end of the season.
He is believed to be in front of the Spanish coach at this moment in time, with those in charge at Chelsea holding him in higher regard than the former Barcelona manager after the first meetings.
Sammer believes Nagelsmann would be ill-advised to make the move, though, with Boehly’s lack of leadership a clear problem.
“With the structure: I would clearly advise him against it,” BILD report him saying.
“There is unrest coming from the leadership, from someone who wants to influence but who doesn’t seem to have a clue. That will always have some influence.”
