If there’s been one big bright spot for Everton this season, it’s the performances of Amadou Onana since his arrival from Lille.
The midfielder was a relative unknown when he was signed in the summer window but quickly established himself as a key player at Goodison Park and hasn’t looked back since.

They explain how for years Axel Witsel was the ‘glue in midfield’ for the national team but when Tedesco named his first squad for this break, he wasn’t in it.
That means a new holder for the midfield will be needed and the Everton star is one of those who could fill the gap.
