Everton manager Ronald Koeman could be one of the candidates to take charge of Barcelona next season, according to the Italian media.
Website Calciomercato has an article today about the future of the Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri, as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Barça would all be considering to sign him.
This all stems from Barcelona’s board not exactly being happy with Luis Enrique, both for their league form as well as for the 4-0 defeat to PSG for the Champions League last week, but, to be honest, we don’t see Everton’s Dutchman leaving in the summer, even if the Catalan club knocking.
It seems Calciomercato are just guessing here, and trying to make Barcelona’s alleged ‘hunt’ for a new manager sound far more exciting than it actually is
Before becoming a manager, Koeman had already worked for Barça as an assistant coach between 1998 and 1999. He left the job when he got the offer from Vitesse to start his new career.
