The rumours linking Chelsea to Hirving Lozano are today brought back by the Italian media.
That chase was revealed by journalist Raffaele Auriemma, who had today been speaking on Radio CRC about Napoli’s transfer market.
Talking about Lozano, he claimed the winger is one of the candidates to leave Napoli next summer, and revealed that Chelsea are a potential destination for him.
“Chelsea likes the Mexican footballer, given that the Blues coach likes this type of winger,” said Raffaele Auriemma on Radio Crc (via Mondo Napoli).
The journalist also brought a price for that transfer, claiming Napoli would already have some plans about that money.
“In this case, the Neapolitan club can collect 50 million and pay it cash into Sassuolo’s coffers to take Laurientè and Frattesi.”
Lozano has been linked to Premier League clubs since his exit from Mexican side Pachuca in 2017.
That’s why if searching up, we can see Chelsea named in rumours about his future since 2018.
But it turns out that the Blues haven’t been linked to him since 2020, so maybe the interest has indeed been reawakened, with Graham Potter interested in his signing.
Now other clubs, such as Wolverhampton Wanderers, are still said to be chasing the attacker, so Chelsea should be aware that the competition for his transfer will continue being big this summer.
