Earlier this week, we saw the first reports about Watford’s interest in São Paulo defender Lucas Beraldo.

It was reported by IG that the player is being ‘watched closely’ by a few European sides, and the Hornets were one of them.

It turns out that that report didn’t have much information on how much Watford and others would need to spend on the signing, and now we get to see something interesting coming from Bolavip.

The outlet features a story claiming São Paulo have been receiving many approaches for the player, with Udinese, Porto, Fiorentina and Benfica all looking for information as well.

Regarding Watford, it’s said the Hornets ‘dream’ of a place in the Premier League and are keeping an eye on the player for the next season.

It’s said São Paulo want to receive offers of between €8m and €10m for the sale, as they believe that would be enough to sell him.

But the Tricolor are only letting Beraldo go, to Watford or anywhere else, in case other sales are not done in the summer.

There are other players from their squad being targeted by European sides, and the club don’t want to lose more than two.
