An Italian derby is now expected for the signing of Fulham fullback Antonee Robinson, the local media says.
Outlet Il Milanista today writes that the Whites’ player is liked by both Inter Milan and AC Milan.
The Nerazzurri’s chase is said to be older, with the club following him for a while, despite not yet making any moves with Fulham for the signing. That’s partly because they have players doing well in that position.
In the Rossoneri’s case, it’s said Robinson was actually ‘one step’ from joining them three years ago, but a problem found during his medical stopped the transfer. Now he’s back being a target for them.
But it’s not only Inter Milan and Milan who’d like to sign him from Fulham. Il Milanista claims that interest from Manchester City also exists, despite Pep Guardiola’s side now getting involved in ‘rather delicate non-football events’.
That race can only be good for the Whites, who should have some offers for his sale in the summer transfer window. Robinson has a contract with the club until 2024, so that will be an appropriate time to decide whether to sell or hold him.
