It’s now time for Dutch outlet Voetbal International to have a say on the latest developments between Leeds United and Alfred Schreuder.
The website now comes up with a story saying the former Ajax boss ‘will not be the new head coach’ of the Whites.
Voetbal International recalls that Schreuder even attended to Leeds’ game against Manchester United at the weekend, and that made his signing look like ‘a matter of time’.
That’s why Schreuder has now left England and any chances of him taking charge of Leeds are ruled out, as the Whites are about to turn their attentions to other candidates.
As the club’s quest to find a new boss continues, we continue to see the names of Nuno Espírito Santo, caretaker Michael Skubala, Steven Gerrard and Arne Slot being mentioned as some of the options they have, now that Schreuder and Andoni Iraola both seem off the table.
