Even though it didn’t seem to be serious, the Brazilian wonderkid had to be replaced by Sergio Aguero after only fifteen minutes of the match.
“Manchester City will do tests to see what actually happened. But we hope that it is nothing serious, and that he can play as soon as possible.”
Asked if they have any idea of when Jesus will be back, Fernandinho said: “It’s difficult, right, there’s only been very little time. But it’s better to do an MRI to have a more accurate result. And then we’ll see how long he’s going to need to stay out.”
Questioned about Manchester City’s new place in the table, 31-year-old Fernandinho feels happy to finally get a little closer to leaders Chelsea: “Anything is possible in this Premier League.
