Aston Villa are ‘in love’ with Lyon striker Moussa Dembélé and are eyeing up a move at the end of the season.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who say Unai Emery and his team have ‘set their sights’ on the Frenchman as he will be available on a free transfer in the summer.
The website explains that Dembélé’s ‘profile and experience’ are appreciated by those in charge at Villa Park and they are eyeing up a move.
They would ‘ideally’ move for him in the summer when he will be available on a free transfer when his contract comes to an end.
That would save them having to pay a transfer fee for the striker, although Villa do have the money to do that if they need to.
That’s because Emery is a major fan of the player, having wanted to work with him at PSG and Villarreal in the last few years.
Indeed, it is stated that the Frenchman has been in contact with Aston Villa since the start of the season, meaning he is a name to keep an eye on between now and the end of the window.
