As expected, it appears that everything is in order for Dango Ouattara to complete his move to AFC Bournemouth in the coming days.
It was previously reported that the player was absent from training on Wednesday and was expected to return to Lorient’s training ground to empty his locker.
The reason for that, it seems, is because he is set to travel to England, where he will then undergo a medical before signing for Bournemouth.
This comes courtesy of Foot Mercato, who say the winger ‘should undergo his medical on Thursday’, before signing a contract that will keep him tied to the Cherries until 2028.
It had already been reported that the two clubs had agreed on a fee of €27.5m for the Burkina Faso international, and he will be the first signing the club have made to bolster their attack in January.
Outside of the article, the journalist behind the information, Santi Aouna, adds on Twitter the player ‘will fly to England tomorrow’, meaning Thursday.
It all appears to be falling into place now.
