It appears that Dango Ouattara is now edging ever closer to signing for AFC Bournemouth, if the latest update from France is to be believed.
This comes from Mohamed Toubache-Ter, who took to Twitter to reveal that the Lorient player was ‘absent’ from training on Wednesday.
Not only that, but he will ‘come back to empty his locker’, which would suggest a final farewell to his teammates before heading to Bournemouth.
The transfer, previously reported to have been agreed at €27.5m, is potentially the first of two between the two sides, as the Cherries are also trying to sign Enzo Le Fée.
They appear to be meeting a bit more resistance there, as explained on Tuesday, but perhaps once Ouattara arrives at Bournemouth and sees what the club has to offer, he could send a few positive words to his soon-to-be-former teammate to convince him to join him in the south of England?
The 20-year-old forward had scored six goals and provided six assists for Lorient this season in Ligue 1 in 18 appearances.
