Eintracht Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani has aroused the interest of Manchester United for this winter market, according to L’Equipe.
Erik ten Hag has publicly expressed his desire to have a new striker in January so that he can have more options in the second half of this season.
Kolo Muani has eight goals and 11 assists to his name this season and also impressed for France at the World Cup. This has seen him attract interest from big European clubs and ‘particularly’, according to L’Equipe, from Manchester United.
It’s claimed the Premier League side would have prepared an offer of €60m to secure the 24-year-old’s services this month.
Manchester United’s interest does not leave the player ‘indifferent’, but his preference is to continue in Germany, where he has excelled so far.
Apart from Ten Hag’s side, Bayern Munich are in the picture for the France international. Unlike the Red Devils, they have not prepared an offer so far, but have expressed their interest in the player with his entourage. Bayern are looking at him for next summer.
Eintracht Frankfurt, down their end, are aware it will be difficult for them to keep their star for long. However, there is a possibility Kolo Muani could finish the season with them.
Despite all of that, €60m seems a rather big amount for Manchester United to offer, especially as an initial bid.
