Feeling Arsenal could increase €40m+ offer ‘in next few hours’ – Club ‘undecided whether to accept or not’

If there is one man who appears to be heading to Arsenal in the coming weeks, it’s Mykhaylo Mudryk, currently at Shakhtar Donetsk.

The forward has been a target for Mikel Arteta over the past few months, with it made clear by some at the Ukrainian side that the Gunners are after the winger.

Things moved forward on Wednesday when Arsenal made a new bid for the player of around €40m + bonuses, which the club have ‘no intention of accepting’.

This is according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who bring the latest on the situation on Wednesday, and while Shakhtar are ‘asking for around €60m’, it might all get done for less.

That’s because ‘the feeling is that in the next few hours, the situation could unblock itself’, with Arsenal reportedly ‘increasing the offer to around €50m’.

This is a fee Shakhtar are ‘undecided whether to accept or not’, and perhaps the inclusion of a few more bonuses could do the trick.

Either way, TuttoMercatoWeb state it seems ‘like a deal in the pipeline’, and the gap between the two clubs is ‘destined to shrink soon’.

To date, Mudryk has scored 10 goals and assisted another eight in 18 games in all competitions this season.
