The race for Celtic fullback Josip Juranovic now gets a new update from journalist Ignazio Genuardi.
On Twitter, the report highlights that clubs continue to pursuit the 27-year-old, with West Ham ‘notably in the ranks’ for Ange Postecoglou’s man.
This competition now has the entrance of a French club, who reportedly ‘enquired’ about his situation at Celtic.
The Parkhead side, however, ‘seem particularly greedy’ in the price they demand for the move, as, according to Genuardi, they now want around €20m to let the player go.
As the race for Juranovic look to get bigger, Celtic are apparently using that to upper their demands.
Because just this week, as the Spanish media reported Espanyol’s interest in the player, it had been claimed that the Scottish side would ‘refuse’ to let him move for less than €9m, and that price has since grown.
The Celtic right-back is one of the players who had great performances in the World Cup and drew the interest from several clubs, so it should be no surprise to see the fight for his signing only getting more fierce, with the Scottish side obviously benefiting from that.
