Many European clubs were surely proud of seeing their players succeeding in the World Cup in the past few weeks.
One of them were Juventus, who had several stars involved in the most decisive matches of the tournament.
That also means that the transfer market is coming for many of those footballers, and as reported by CalcioMercato.it, Chelsea could be a threat to take some players from the Old Lady.
The story starts by claiming the Blues are interested in Adrien Rabiot and Dusan Vlahovic, and truth is the rumours about those chases aren’t exactly new.
Then they bring a third name that makes the story a lot more interesting, and that’s Weston McKennie’s.
Calciomercato.it claims Graham Potter wants to ‘revolutionise’ Chelsea’s midfield, especially because of the possible departures of Jorginho and N’Golo Kante, and McKennie shows up as a more ‘feasible’ option than the other two stars from Juventus.
It’s said the Serie A giants have been wondering about his sale, and have him valued at €30m.
That sounds like a pretty affordable operation for Chelsea, who, to sign all three players in the list, would need to spend €145m.
