Bryan Mbeumo’s agent has revealed they have an agreement with Brentford for the player to leave, but only if a fair offer is made for the forward.
Mbeumo has been impressing in the Premier League since Brentford were promoted last season, playing a key role in them comfortably avoiding relegation at the first time of asking.
He’s been a key player again this season, with a tally of three goals and one assist in 15 Premier League games so far and a standout performance in the 4-0 win over Manchester United at the beginning of the season.
Mbeumo is now being linked with a move away from the club, with a report today indicating that Serie A leaders Napoli have noticed his performances and could make a move in the January transfer window.
That would be a big step up for the 23-year-old, whose career so far has seen him turn out for Troyes and then Brentford.
His agent is convinced he could do it, though, and insists there is an agreement in place with the Bees should an offer be made.
“He can easily play there, because he has physique and speed in the last 30 metres. He has intensity and would be great for Italy,” he told Calcio Napoli.
“Brentford don’t need money, we have an agreement with them that a fair offer must come in order for him to leave.
“He’s also being followed by other English clubs, more or less they value him at €30m. At Napoli I would see him well, he would do well anywhere because he is a strong player.”
