A Tottenham Hotspur scout was among several officials present at the Estádio do Dragão to watch FC Porto suffer a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Club Brugge on September 13th.
This was reported by O Jogo the next day, but they didn’t provide any information on who Spurs were there to follow.
Tottenham’s scout saw Andreas Skov Olsen starring for the Jupiler Pro League winners as he scored the first Champions League goal of his career against Porto.
He left Bologna for Club Brugge in January and has enjoyed a great start to his career in Belgium. Operating as a right wing-back and a right winger this campaign, the Denmark international has six goals and three assists from 12 matches in all competitions.
“I am incredibly happy to be at Club Brugge. It has given me back my joy, and that is precisely what is crucial for a footballer. Brugge also know very well that I will not be with them forever,” Andreas Skov Olsen told Ekstra Bladet.
“The Premier League is the biggest league in the world. And yes, it is a dream to play in that league at some point in the future.”
According to Ekstra Bladet, Andreas Skov Olsen’s current market value is around €15m.
