Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino could return to Italy in the summer, according to claims in the Italian media.
Brescia Oggi believe Cellino could still be considering purchasing Brescia after being linked with the Serie B side last year. They say Cellino may have become fed up with English football due to his latest ban, and a return to his home country could be on the cards.
However, it’s unlikely Cellino will sell his Leeds United shares given the financial benefits of English football, especially if they get promotion to the Premier League. With Radrizzani at the club more control could be passed by Cellino to his compatriot.
Last November we covered reports Cellino was interested in Brescia, as he looked to land himself a bargain. Brescia is now again an attractive club after the financial problems of recent years, and as a result the club was nearly sold last summer to Chinese investors.
